Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are a method of resurfacing the skin. The procedure allows the replacement of part of the epidermis providing exfoliation, removal of pigments, and stimulation of new collagen formation. They also dissolve the Bonds between epidermal (outer layer of the skin) cells making the wall more porous and further increasing product’s (creams, vitamins, lotions) intake by the Dermis.

We use various Acid preparations (Lactic, Glycolic, Salicylic, Jessners and TCA’s), which have different indications depending on the patient condition and skin type.

Chemical peels are an excellent option in the hands of an experienced physician for treatment of photo-aging, brown and solar spots, acne, pigmentation abnormalities, melasma, wrinkles, and scaring.
